Getting steam overlay to work!

Setting the desktop shortcut for steam to XP SP2 compatibility, then launching, worked great for me using Win7 x64 RTM.

Now it actually shows me playing Aion in the friends list and I can shift+tab to msg ppl.

See thread, but this should work for Vista/Win7. As far as I know, XP users haven't had this problem.

Is what I set Steam to launch and I didn't need to do anything with compatibility options. That just worked right fine like dat mmkay. I'm on Vista though.
