More of you should know about Shattered Horizon. At the time of posting, you can get it for $5 for approximately 9 more hours! It's pretty fun and looks pretty good too. XP users are screwed, but that's ok with me.

There are plenty of women fire fighters in the Minneapolis fire department and the word is that most of them are lesbians. This apparently has absolutely nothing at all whatsoever to do with the fact that the fire chief is a lesbian woman. Nothing. At all. Don't even bother asking.
I was thinking about all the games I needed to beat and considered updating my Backloggery page. I then realized just how many games I really do need to get playing and it made me sad.

I just found out a woman I work with slipped on ice over the weekend and broke both her arms. How much does that suck? No driving….How do you wipe your butt? I can’t even imagine having to have someone help me shower, wash my hair or wipe myself…well at least the wiping part anyway. The showering might not be so bad.Wow, that’s gota suck though.
On this brisk morning, I decided after a bit of net surfing that I will opt to wear my brand new snuggie. I find it hung and put it on. The dry air makes little static shocks making me feel the tiniest powerful knowing that I could shock anyone I please at any moment. I scuttle back to my computer chair ready to surf in style and warmth when I shock my new Razer Naga mouse. I lol'd thinking "take that!" but soon I recoil in horror at sight before me. The lights are no longer on. The mouse does not respond to any movements or clicks. I just killed my mouse with a snuggie! I attempt to unplug and plug in the USB cable several times to no avail. No noises from my computer and no signs of life from my mouse.
So sad. I emailed Razer asking about the warranty and a replacement. Hopefully things turn out well.
P.S. The snuggie still works.

Wikkit, this might be my favorite holiday story. Razer: 0, Snuggie: 1. They should cover it if it's still under warranty (3 or 5 years for Razer imo).
OMG Wikkit! Your story cracked me up so much. I have a Snuggie that I wear regularly since it got cold. I know what you mean about the static especially when it comes out of the dryer, I just wouldn’t have expected/thought about it to mess up your mouse. ROFL! I’m sorry about your mouse but that is funny as hell. HAHA! I just grabbed my IT guy for a smoke so I could warn of the dangers or a snuggie and a mouse! Oh I had to return a razor mouse before and they are great with that. File the reason online and mail it back and they will send you a new one. It came quick too. I had a lot of issues razor though and have since switched to Logitech.
Banana, I thank you for offering to help me out if I am ever in the situation. If I ever break both my arms I will be holding you to that. Oh and if you can bring me some of that Canadian Beer too and pour it in mouth for me while feeding me a burger? That would be great.
