Verizon is the only one that covers some of the areas that I visit on a somewhat regular basis. I've also found that even in the population centers around here, Verizon has better coverage than AT&T or Sprint (T-Mobile's is actually nonexistant in some places), which makes them a more attractive option if you actually plan on using your phone.
And Android has huge potential for grabbing marketshare. It's open source, so anyone can use it on any phone they'd like. Being open source means anyone can develop an app for it without someone else's approval. It also runs pretty well on lackluster hardware and seems more scalable (at least, IMO) than the iPhone's OS. There a bunch more Android phones coming out in the near future and I think they'll prove to be pretty popular.
