Venice is pretty nice, I hear. Rome is cool, but it's pretty congested. Make sure you go to the old Roman ruins and shit. Sicily is always very nice - especially Palermo, but watch out for the girls. They carry knives like Puerto Ricans.

Worst thing ever! So I got a Sirus Radio for my car. It’s a portable/detachable one. I fell in love with it the 1st day I had it installed and immediately decided I need to have this at work so I went home and ordered a the dock/boom box for it so I can listen to Stern and 80’s all day at work! Two weeks later it finally arrives on a Friday when I get home from work. I can’t wait to go into work Monday and hook it up. I’m in the office all day today and tomorrow and so I’m excited about the many hours of Sirus radio I will be having. Now its Monday… this thing is huge and the box is heavy. Me and my little self carry this big heavy box through a packing lot full of black ice and up about 4 flights steps. I hook it up and the darn thing won’t find a signal through all the steal in the fucking office building. I’m about 10 ft from a north west facing window which is the set up it says it requires (Except it should be directly at the window). This is such ass! Every position, angle, distance I try fails… anyone know any little tips or ideas that could possibly help find a signal? I want my F’in radio to work! I need this!!!!! I don’t think there is anything more I can do at this point but i’m so desperate I will try anything! I want to cry. So blue balled. Uhggg! I’m so sad.
If it's practical, check if your receiver has an external antenna option available. Unfortunately, beyond that, there isn't too much you can do indoors. You could sing or hum whatever songs you heard on the way into work?

It does come with external antenna that has specific directions for me to have the disk for it on a 90 degree angle and face it towards a window to the north west. All of which I did. I guess i’m just shit out of luck on this one. Looks like its coming home to go next to the computer. I can sing and humm to you guys in games! I bet you can’t wait. We could have Karaoke L4D2! Welp, it's important to note that satellite radio uses line of sight. It'll work near a window provided the angle still allows some view of the sky. What about an extension lead for the antenna so you can get it closer to the window?
Let me know what kind of unit you have and I can see what's available. I've found some shit for a Sirius receiver which allows use of RG6 coax line. It's just two RG6 to SMA connectors. May work for you.
i have no idea how satellite radio or the receivers work, but would it be possible to hook up a receiver in your car and use wifi or something to connect an mp3 player or your computer to it?
i haven't had my period for 20 years, i think i might be pregnant.

OMG! I love this office. I just had a co-worker come up to and say. “I want to save all of a type of document to its own place. Can I do that?” I said “Like make it its own folder in your personal drive?” She says “What’s my personal drive and yes how do I make a folder?” I just had to show her how to create a new folder and how to drag and drop files into it from you e-mail. Then she couldn’t even get it so I had to get up and go over and do it for her a few times until she understood. She then says to me “Wow I never right clicked anything my mouse on purpose. I wondered what that was for.” And to make it even worst we have a network drives to securely save all documents. She has every single thing imaginable on the desk top! She is the sweetest person but if you don’t know that much you shouldn’t even be allowed near this beautiful fantastic machine called the computer. I don’t know why but this just really aggregated me for some reason. Maybe because I had my car broken into last night while it was in my own driveway and now my world is shattered for the day…

What did they steal from the car? Mine was broken into a year back, took my deck, amp and iPod Nano. Some dude a few units down caught him breaking into his jeep and choke-slammed him. Unfortunately, he didn't realize he had already broken into a few rides including my own so he didn't follow him to his car.
My world was shattered when it was brought to my attention that after watching the Hercules animated movie, hey, some one somewhere probably didn't like James Woods in that movie. A frightening thought.

It boggles my mind how some people that work with computers all day, every day have no concept of how to use one except for one specific task.
people are incredibly dumb and there is no extent to how dumb they can actually get. i lost faith in humanity long ago.
Honestly they really didn’t take much at all Nana. They left my two pairs of Brighton sunglass which probably are the most valuable things in the car but not many dudes would know that I guess, and they left all my CD’s probably at least 30 of them were in there. What they did do was take all my change out of my change thing, probably about $10’s worth. I do a lot of driving for work that requires tolls so that is always full, and I also had a purse/bag (pardon My honesty here on the next part lol) that I kept a toothbrush, toothpaste, body spray, deodorant, pads and tampons in. ROFL! Like I said, my honesty. They took out the toothbrush and body spray and threw them on the floor and took the rest of the stuff in the bag the tampons, pads, toothpaste and deodorant. It kinda funny telling the cop someone broke into my car and stole my tampons. The main thing was that I had just gotten a Sirius radio installed into the car and they ripped out all the wiring and the dock station. It hasn’t even been in the car a month. I haven’t even received the bill for it. Good thing I bring the actual radio and my GPS with me all the time and never leave that in the car. The cops think that’s what they were looking for since even the trunk was popped and it looked like they went through everything but took next nothing. Hell they didn’t even take the docking station for the radio. Just ripped it off the dash and threw it to the floor. Regardless I hate being in my car right now. It’s very uncomfortable and I feel so violated and unsafe. =( GIVE ME MY TAMPONS!
Welp, as a bit of a car audio enthusiast (well, used to be anyways) I've had my fair share of break-ins. It is a shitty feeling and what they steal is always the most random shit.
My parents have a Chrysler Intrepid and it's been broken into four times. They're actually trying to steal the car itself though and have failed all four times. Honestly, if all you have left as a career choice is car thief and you can't get a shitty bronze Intrepid after four attempts, kill yourself with a rusty meat hook.
Ohhh, and fuck 'Rambo-style' L4D2 VS in the ass with that same rusty meat hook.

Lady you just need a diff car. You have a Toyota right? That is one of the most broken into cars on the road. You need a 1985 Chrysler LeBarron Turbo (my first car btw) then no one would mess w/ you.
That is a great Idea junk. A car that is older then most of the people that play on our server… I have always wanted a piece of shit that won’t start in my driveway as a status symbol.
I’m dying for a new Accord. Probably in another year or tow. I <3 my current car. How they are as far as theft goes? The sound a Honda makes when it starts brings a smile to my face.
My old Audi was older than most of the people here. 1985 Audi 5000 Quattro. Best car I've ever owned. Period. Vacuum-controlled differential locks with a turn-dial right under the radio to go into 4x4. And I can't forget the turbo'd straight-5 and constant injection. Ohh, and heated seats that got way too hot. I actually shorted the thermostat to get them to work (I was 21 and not too sharp) and it burned a hole in the center of the seat. It was all brown and dingy so it looked like I shit myself. True story.
It's really too bad all of the cocks and assholes have moved from driving BMWs to Audis because now I just can't bring myself to like an Audi that isn't the R8 (cocks can't drive the R8 because it's too super awesome). The upshot is that I can like BMWs, finally.
