The New Deal was Theodore Roosevelt, or as he was referred to by the blacks, "Big Teddy".

My only question; are you going to pop into the new TF2 server and heal my ass? And of course by heal my ass, I actually mean ravage my love hoop.

Oops. Did you know that with or without google? I imagine I read all about it in the AP US History course I took junior year in high school, but that seems so long ago.

I'm sure I'll pop in at some point. Gotta show the medics how to do it right ukno. Except Klaus and Timmi, those two are beastly.

What is this? Trivia hour? The current one? I dunno. Fidel Castro is getting pretty up there in the years, and I believe he retired. He's still writing essays though. I remember reading one a couple months ago or something. Must be nice to be that sharp at his age. Then again, my next door neighbor is in his late 80s (and is a WW2 vet) and I love talking to him. Amazing stories. He was actually at Normandy. Probably one of the smartest dudes I know.

    LOL North Koreans.

I Googled the shit out of it, but I'm allowed since I'm Canadian. I do know a fair bit about American politics but that doesn't extend to FDR's economic policies.

What car company did Robert McNamara run before serving as JFK's Minister of Defense? (Got this from a documentary called Fog of War which is fantastic)
Where can I find the current office of former U.S. President Bill Clinton?
Who is the current Prime Minister of Canada?

HAHA! I love Wikkits’ Question!! I still have my "Stuffy" as that is what I call them. Mine is an orange teddy bear I call Freddy Bear. I have had him since I was a baby so he’s old as hell. He has blue bib with a red apple on it and he has a squeaker. I still have my blankie too! I am such a giant child!

Good job on the questions gnum. I didn't know the answer to the 2nd one. They were from a radio show from yesterday morning. I hated US history and politics in school. I was more of science person or history of other countries. I love biology and if I had half a brain when it came to chemistry and standardized tests, I would be living a completely different life right now. Humm…

No, my last name is Babcock.

The server didn't really die. It was a conscious decision. I have a bit of an obsessive personality, and it was getting to the point where maintaining the server was no longer fun, and I dare say, unhealthy. I did a lot of thinking, listened to the advice of friends and loved ones, and made the choice to make a clean break. I still feel like I made the right decision and I'm more at peace because of it.

I own a monkey with a teal Pokerstars t-shirt. It's the most adorable thing ever, even though Mag thinks it's ugly.

Dude, seriously? Okay, I'm not going to google any of this. It's an ask me thread, not an ask me and every fucking piece of reference material I can lay my hands on.

Car company? I have no idea. General Motors!

Current office? Hm, I'd imagine somewhere in New York.

I know just about nothing about Canadians bro. I couldn't answer that question if my life depended on it. Prob some white dude with a slight French accent that's fond of drinking and walks in the snow.

Yeah, I went a little overboard, and I apologize. Anyways, it's Ford, Harlem and Steven Harper (but not for much longer imo).

Here's a legit question; you planning on turfing the forums anytime soon? Let me know, I'll post all the naked pictures of Lady she keeps sending me.

Hey, Gnum. Now that you are now longer spending so much time dicking around with maintaining the JLM servers, what activity have you found to replace the void?

When the GLM (I'm gonna call the old JLM servers "GLM" to distinguish them from the new ones Lady and I forget whoever's put together) servers were taken offline, did those indexes with all the maps and shit die as well?

I can answer this part for you squirrel...

No they did not disappear. Gnum was kind enough to send me and a few others tons of stuff from the old server in case we wanted to use any of it. Thank you for that you kind-hearted BabCOCK!

I've been focusing heavily on online poker, reading, watching Lost, generally trying to take better care of myself, and dabbling in Global Agenda and MW2. Global Agenda is pretty fun, it's like a new age TF2... sorta. MW2 usually ends in the seat of my pants getting lit on fire, but I still enjoy it.

Nope. You guys should do your homework. Not only are the 800+ maps still present on the web site mirror, so is the entire server config circa November, with all plugins etc, and even HLStatsX is still running (granted, just not pointed at a server).

Edit: Oops, just noticed Lady kinda answered that one.

I own a BlackBerry 8110. It works fine as a phone, which is about all I ever use it for, except for the occasional grainy picture. But, I own a decent digital camera now so even that happens just about never. It used to belong to Mexi before he upgraded to an iPhone. He still has the highest score on Breakout, and I'll likely never beat it. Part of that is due to the trackball kinda just not working when it decides it wants to push my buttons. Then, I blast the shit out of it with compressed air, without any luck whatsoever, and randomly it decides to work again about a week later for no apparent reason. I can almost hear it laughing at me. But, I digress.. the other reason I'll never beat his score is because I'll never be that patient or have enough coordination for it.

For what it's worth, Mexi is probably the coolest person I've ever met that's owned an iPhone. From what I've seen it tends to be a pretty reliable equivalent to a large red 'asshole' tattoo on one's forehead.

Nope, I haven't kept in touch with him. He may or may not be still trying to chase after an ex, and still spending way too much time jerking off in front of the computer. Actually no, I think he works pretty hard now, but again, I don't know and I can't truly say I miss him either. Well, that's not true. I miss the guy he was before he did some pretty horrible things.

The Dorphat version of Jimmy is pretty fucking cool and generally a blast to game with though.

My first answer for the electric car was a waste of time. Then I thought about it a bit, and realized it'd have to be something simple and catchy. "The Answer" is way too pretentious. So, I'll go with Phoenix. Cheers to new beginnings and a way to rise from the ashes of dependency on a liquid that we're unfortunately past peak in supply on since about the 70s or 80s. The dude that announced that, with quite a bit of data to back up it, was pretty much ridiculed at the time. Unappreciated genius? Ironically, the name would mock my own failure to rise from my own ashes, figuratively speaking, after I perfected the design. I'd be damn sure to make sure it worked, worked well, didn't look like some gimped out silly thing on wheels that only hippies would drive, and accelerated to cruising speed in an unheard of amount of time. Unfortunately, I don't think certain corporations would appreciate it's potential popularity too much.

I've heard of Primus. Never really got into them too much, but from my own taste in music and what I gather, I'd probably like them.

I like my bacon soft. I even made my own Bacon Explosion (seriously, google it) a couple months ago.

I don't drive anything. I don't really need it in the city I'm in, but I really just haven't made it a priority... until now. This answer will change sometime in the near future.

You are officially my hero. I have been meaning to do that for so long.

Next question: Do you think there will be a new Tool album this year? They're about due, if ever that group could be due for anything. While four years isn't abnormally long for Tool itself, it's been two years since we heard anything at all from Maynard (the last being his Puscifer release), which is just about as long as he goes at any one time.

Damn. Hatter be asking dem tough questions. This is like something that makes you draw a blank on a job interview, right before they fire the one about how you'd go about your life if you were a pretty pink tree.

My most prized possession is a copy of The Joy of Cooking that was a gift from mother dearest.

I have no idea how much I bench. The hardest I've ever used free weights like that was senior year in high school. It was pretty much manditory if you played a sport that wasn't like... badminton. When I'm taking good care of my body, I go running a ton, and do lots of situps, pushups, pullups, and all that fun stuff right in my apartment.

    Toning, haha... good genes!

The worst thing I've done to someone... probably just about killing a middle-aged man on a motorcycle with a car. That answer is a bit of a copout though. I'm trying to to think of something kinda evil with malicious intent. This is the best I can do for now...

I watched and did nothing while a buddy of mine threw a huge rock, weighing about 50 pounds, through another friends' downstairs laundry room window, somewhere around 2 in the morning. You might be amazed how loud that can be, in the middle of the night, in a quiet suburban neighborhood street with freshly fallen snow. The victim, if you will, was living with his parents at the time because we were all still in the same high school. Ah, the stupid shit you'll do fighting over women.

I remember running away into the night right after it happened. I was freezing, slipping all over the place on ice, scared, and feeling like I wanted to die both from guilt and barely being able to breathe because I was trying to sprint for miles at a time while wearing heavy snow boots. Obviously it enraged the father, who came chasing after us in his car, along with his son sprinting down the street, looking to beat the shit out of anyone he could lay hands on that looked remotely guilty. We got away by running through parks and backyards like cowards and hiding as best we could.

I dunno, it was just a shitty thing to let happen when I could have easily stopped it. One loyal friend of mine fucking with another. I even had the State Police wake me up the next morning to investigate. Ugh.
