    L4D2

So, I've spent all my money on beer and handjobs and can't afford L4D2 until Friday. Honestly though, in spite of my own best efforts, I can't get my dick to beat itself.

So what's the fucking verdict considering all eight people on my friends list were playing it?

It is very enjoyable so far, having the extra special infected along with the new weapons the survivors get helps mix it up a bit from L4D.
The new modes are also nice if you want something different then Campaign or VS, with Scavenge being a 2nd mode that supports 8 player games.

Verdict is if you liked and enjoyed playing L4D, you are probably going to love L4D2.

Love it! Love it! Love! It! Very happy with the game and valves choice. I see now why they did what they did.

Jockey is my favorite by far. I have some issues playing the charger, but its funny as hell to watch people ram in walls or telephone poles (Choob) with him. Spitter is very direct so you really need to aim unlike boomer that just shoots his jizz all over.

The maps are really long in my opinion, like they are trying make up for the fact that people feel they got short changed with the 1st one, plus I feel like the game is more challenging then the 1st one. I love the scavenger mode. That is fun as hell. Prob my favorite part of the new game. Realism I don’t think is really for me. I only messed around in 2 games of that. Oddly both games I was the last man standing because or ppl’s lack of pistol use early hurt them in the end. Next to nothing laying around to pick up so what you leave with and your u team is really all you have beside a Radom weapon you may be luck enough to find. I might feel different about it if I was w/ some friends rather then pub’s.

Honestly, I could talk about it for hours about it but who wants to hear that so I will wrap now.

Played last night with a lot of the JLM regulars and had a great time. I especially enjoyed the finale for Parish since it's more of a run-and-gun than anything else. Unfortunately, I could see versus being a bit of a clusterfuck with the horde pounding you like that.

In short, if you're reading this and don't already have it, get it.

EDIT: And Cool is 'dead sexy'.

I haven't tried versus yet, but I'm looking forward to it!

I played campaign on expert last night with Mag, Pecpec, and Cunt. Was a frustrating run through the mall, failing tons of times, and feeling like I was getting my ass handed to me. At the end, after getting sodomized several times while trying to pour as much fuel as I could into some dude's NASCAR thinger, my L4D2 client ended up crashing right before Pec saved the day and won the level for us (while everyone else was incapped from what I hear).

Poor Felipe prob thought I raged. Fun game though.

I'd like to see a JLM versus sometime soon but I think everyone's still getting used to the campaigns.

Also, did I see correctly? Is JLM hosting two L4D2 servers?

In l4d, making sure I played through every campaign wasn't a priority for me. In l4d2 however I can tell valve really worked hard at making the campaign mode a much more enjoyable experience. Hard Rain, or whatever it is called, is set up in such a cool way. You work your way through the maps once and then have to come back the way you came. Except on your return trip you are fighting through a nasty storm. Streets and yards are flooded so bad that you need to jump from roof top to roof top. The downpour gets so bad that you can't even see the other members of your group. Oh, and on the first trip through there are wandering witches EVERYWHERE. Stuff like that really make this game so much better than the original.
