    Computer Down!!

    well, i come home from work today and go to turn on my computer and nothing happends. wtf? my mobo light is on like its getting power but makes no attempt at powering on when i press the button. My first thought was my power button just broke. So i tried jumping the pins with a few metalic objects, i tried disconnecting my reset button and connecting that to my power location to try to start my computer with the reset button...

    blah blah blah... i even pulled a switch out of an old case, stripped the ends (it was some proprietary all in one "john") made a sad attempt at connecting them to the appropriate pins and pressing the button... nothing...

    wtf? any suggestions?

    No idea, sir. Do you have a different PSU you can try and swap out?

    Edit: Check the voltage on your CR2032? (button cell)

    btw, if all else fails.. do the standard strip down to just video and one stick of ram and see if it'll boot. if so, add components back from there.

    considering that is around 2/3 of a whole pay check, and i have to move out soon, i think i should play it safe. i just hate dealing with this crap... loving building new pcs, but i hate doing it rushed. Plus i could order all this stuff just to find out it was my psu, rofl.

    oh well, i am currently running a 754 socket mobo, Athlon64 +3000, and an x800gto video card, so it should be a decent upgrade for now.

    Among TeamSpeak's incredible range of features are crystal clear voice communication, Windows/Linux cross-platform design for both the client and server, a built-in web based administration panel for the server, and a highly scalable user permissions system.

    TeamSpeak 2 Linux Client - Minimum Requirements

    * Distribution of Linux
    * Pentium 166 MHz CPU
    * 64 MBytes of RAM
    * 10 MBytes of harddisk space
    * An X server (like XFree86)
    * An Internet connection or LAN
    * A full-duplex soundcard
    * A microphone (if you want to be able to talk, not just listen)
